 I
want to express my deepest gratitude to Baby Bumble Bee. My 2 ½
year old son was diagnosed with PDD and had minimal speech.
Thanks to speech therapy and your videos Tommy now has a
vocabulary of over 150 words. When
I asked his speech therapist about these tapes she was very skeptical
and said that these tapes seldom help, and it wasn't the answer.
Well, she was wrong... Tommy talks more with your tapes than with
his therapist. (Of course, she was shocked!) He not only learned
his colors, but he learned opposites and action words. And
the most beautiful thing is... He uses his words appropriately.
He even learned how to nod his head to yes and no!!!
Thank
you for helping us in one of our darkest moments and helping our
child move ahead. If I can suggest one thing to the parents reading
these reviews, give Baby Bumble Bee a chance. You won't regret it.

"My
two year old son was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder
this past summer and was almost nonverbal with only a few approximation
of words". He was already receiving Early Intervention
and making many strides in other areas yet he was still nonverbal.
My husband came upon the Baby Bumble Bee web site and figured we
would try anything. We ordered the 1st vocabulary Baby Bumble Bee
Video to see if he liked them. He not only loved them,
within a few days of watching the video he was saying every word
on that Volume, even without the verbal prompt and
with our help he was carrying on those words to actual things in
his environment. Henceforth we ordered the entire set and his vocabulary
is kicking in full speed ahead. His Speech Therapist was amazed
when she observed him watching the videos and repeating every word.
Another wonderful aspect of the videos is that they depict many
different pictures of each word. This helps children with PDD to

I
rarely contact a company to praise their product, but I could not
let another day go by without thanking you for your fabulous product.
My husband and I were concerned that our two year old, (now three),
was autistic or that he had a very severe speech problem. I found
your advertisement on the web and decided to try them out (I ordered
the 5 vocabulary builder set). After a month he could say half of
the tape’s words before they did and now he says them all.
He has even learned how to spell the words. I have told so many
family members and friends about these wonderful tapes. I only wish
you would contact more preschools for speech impaired children about
them. My son will go to preschool for speech because we had enrolled
him last spring but I am sure he would be fine with out it now.
I spoke with his teacher and she had not heard of these tapes. I
really believe that if I had not bought these tapes my son would
not have progressed as far as he has. These tapes
have been a life saver for my husband and myself (we were worried
sick about our son). I do not know why these tapes clicked with
my son but they have and the classical music is so soothing to him. --Joanne

My
wife and I purchased the entire Baby Bumble Bee series for our daughter
who has been diagnosed with PDD/autism. At age 2 and
prior to purchasing these videos, she could say maybe 3 words. Now,
at age 2 1/2, through these videos and a home-based ABA program, she
can say over 100 words and is well on her way to being "recovered."
Our daughter can't get enough of these videos and always asks specifically
for "Bee." The Baby Bumble Bee videos are amazing in the
results they have produced in our daughter and well worth every penny.

Hello...just
wanted to thank you for your great products. Although
I have only seen a few minutes of the first video, I was amazed
at the response of the children watching it. I am a veteran
speech pathologist who specializes in early intervention with children
with language delays and developmental disabilities. I
am constantly looking for products to help parents follow through
with therapy tasks during the week. Generally, I am not fond of
videos. But, your video was PERFECT! I love the
simple presentation using examples of function and categorization.

I
purchased your videos when I found out my daughter had PDD at two
years of age. I was reluctant at first, but purchased
the vocabulary building videos. She started out at two words and
after watching them and purchasing action words she
now has a vocabulary of over 100 words. She loves
them and now comes to me and asks for them by name. How wonderful

I
signed on to look up the word “Autism”, my son is 2
½ years old and is not talking, he was evaluated by a speech
therapist who said he was showing signs of Autism, I had
him evaluated by a Developmental Pediatrician who diagnosed
him with PDD, however your website popped up, I
read first all the comments of parents who stated how wonderful
your tapes are. I ordered volume one since my baby is
not talking at all, after looking at the tapes for three days, he
got a banana off the kitchen counter and brought it to me and said
"banana", I could have cried, that is such
a milestone to be able to pronounce a three syllable word, I will
be viewing your tapes with my son every day, with the help of your
tapes and the speech therapist I know my son will be ok. --

you so much for the videos. They are wonderful. The students are
now asking for the videos by name.
Every Friday we watch a ½ hour video and they now
ask for a Baby BumbleBee video to watch. We (the teachers) love
them because it helps them to learn vocabulary and encourages them
to interact. All it takes is for one of the students to start doing
what they are doing on the screen and then they all get into it.
It is so neat to see them involved on their own. We all here at
Burger School are very appreciative of your generous donation. With
all the cuts that occur in the schools, it is hard to be able to

Baby BumbleBee,
You
have truly been one of the most beneficial "therapists"
in my boys' lives. Both have been diagnosed with Sensory
Integration Disorder with Autistic characteristics. Our largest
clue to their disorder was their profound speech delay. My oldest
son (now 4 1/2) had maybe 10 words at 2 1/2 years old. My husband
and I were desperate to hear his little voice and through research
found out about your website. We bought tape 1 and after
the first viewing, my beautiful son said "Dog...woof wooof!".
I couldn't believe it...so of course we bought the rest of the series.
Over a period of weeks he picked up numerous words and was using
them as he saw them in his environment: bus, cow, bicycle...he eventually
learned all of them off the set of 5 tapes. No speech therapist,
occupational therapist, doctor or loving Mom or Dad could get my
child to initiate speech. Somehow, your tapes taught my child to
initiate speech.
Our
second son also has profound speech delay. He has had speech for
several months and I, of course, have been working with him consistently.
We have shown him your tapes quite frequently. He must now be ready
developmentally to speak, because he is just doing so wonderfully
with your tapes. All he wants to watch are your tapes and
he has increased his vocabulary by probably 25 words over the last
week. Funny, it isn't the words that the speech therapist
is teaching, or even me but the words he learns on the tapes. It's
never easy to raise children with developmental delays, but I am
so thankful that you have been there as a huge HELP! I showed these
tapes to the speech therapist and she has just purchased one for
her niece and is now recommending them to her clients. She said
"They just did it right!"
I
highly recommend your tapes to anyone who has typically developing
children, but especially to parents who feel they have tried everything.
Don't give up hope...these tapes changed my children’s lives.
My husband is a physician and I am a PA (now staying at home). We
have found nothing in the medical community that has helped our

Hi,
I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how GREAT the BumbleBee
video's are. My son, who has been diagnosed PDD truly enjoys watching
the tapes and has learned all of the objects on all the tapes. Not
only does Daniel, who is 3, enjoy them but our daughter, who is
typical, loves them too, she's almost 2 and is actually very advanced
for her age. I know the video's helped her speak earlier, and helped
Daniel start speaking. I read one of your "satisfied customer"
letters and the author was right, it helps the PDD and autistic
children generalize and realize a cat can be an animal, a statue,
a picture, a stuffed animal, an animation, etc.
Over
the summer we went to the Philadelphia Zoo for Daniel's birthday
and realized that we knew many of the animals from your video! The
tiger was as playful when we saw him as he is in the tape, the bear's
were having a good time and the elephants were cheerful too. I think
the kids felt the "familiarity" too and really enjoyed
the trip. Daniel labeled many of the animals unprompted by anybody!!
We have lots of hope for Daniel and are grateful to
your videos for helping him through some tough times.
I also
view the video's as "guilt free" for me, if I have to
do something like make dinner or straighten up, I don't like ignoring
the kids and I don't want Daniel being idle or engaging in inappropriate
behavior so I just pop in one of the bee tapes and they get an education.
The kids actually seem more attentive to these tapes than they do
regular stuff like Blues Clues or Elmo. I also prefer the bee tapes
before bed time, the kids don't get riled up (even my husband and
I find them to be relaxing because of the music)."

When
my son was 2, and speech delayed, I ordered Volume Builder 1. It
took some time for him to develop an interest, but now, at 3 1/2,
it is his favorite video. I downloaded the flash
cards, and he knows all the words. I finally ordered Volumes 2 &
3 for Christmas. He already loves them, too.
My
son was diagnosed with Autism at 28 months. I am VERY skeptical
of any company that markets to the Autistic community. Although
he is still non-verbal, his receptive language is really strong
and the Vocabulary Builder series is partially responsible for that.

I
just wanted to let you know how much our family LOVES your videos!
We found out our son has PDD when he turned 3.
We purchased the whole set of videos soon after, and played
them for him and our daughter who was 3 months old at the time.
They loved the videos instantly, and they still love
them almost a year later. My son has learned lots of words, and
he especially learned alot from the Action Words videos.
My daughter who is 13 months old now has an expressive vocabulary
of about 55 words (mostly thanks to your videos) and she understands
many more words that she just can't say yet. I'm amazed at how well
she is doing. Right now we're watching the Opposites video and it
has helped my son learn to answer "yes" to questions,
which has been a big hurdle for him. And my daughter is learning
to say "Mine!". We have ordered the Alphabet video and
the Colors video and I can't wait until they arrive. --Thanks

I
cannot stop telling other mothers about your Baby BumbleBee series
of DVD's. I bought the 1st Vocabulary Builder approximately 1 month
ago. I read the reviews and figured I would give it a try.
I have a 4-year-old and 21-month-old, both boys. My 21 month old
was not talking. The Dr.'s were concerned and as an RN so was I.
I was beginning to think that perhaps he was mildly autistic due
to his language development and limited ability to interact socially
with others. The Dr.'s were giving him 2 more months to begin talking
before having "early intervention" interview him for speech
delays. I received your video with little expectation that this
would get him to begin expressing himself with language instead
of crying. (He was also not using any nonverbal communication for
us to identify his wants / needs). The first time I played your
Vocabulary Builder 1, he was awe struck. We have now watched the
video together at least 30 times (once a day). The results
are nothing short of miraculous. He is beginning to talk, and we
couldn't be more happy. We had tried for months to
get him to identify body parts (such as nose, mouth, ears, eyes),
with no luck. Just 2x's of watching your video he can now, not only,
identify these parts when asked, but can now say those words. My
husband and I cannot thank you enough. My 4 yr old also enjoys watching
the video, which I found surprising. So today I am on line to buy
the whole series. I plan to give my vocabulary 1 builder to a friend
(since I will now have 2 copies w/ my ordering the complete set).
I have told my pediatrician about your web site, and she plans to
refer other patient's mothers to try these videos. Again, thank
